First Day on the League

Morning all,

Yesterday saw 15 players on the court, with one one substitute to blow the centre pass whistle *thanks to Maming too*

My apologies for not brining the ball and bibs, as I didn't have my car with me (emergency). I will bring them the next time we play.

Thanks to all the ladies who came for their patience and stamina and sportsmanship and positive attitude, contributing to our strenous netball game :) i'm pretty sure everyone got burnt out and enjoyed the netball for the evening.

Through discussions with some of the girls yesterday, we've decided that, along with inviting random people who register online to play, we will also have an invited team that "The Registered Team" will play against. I am trying to get some games up and running with several teams already,but if you are in contact with any other teams and can arrange a game, please revert them to me or this website.

Again we will stress the point that we are open to anyone who would like to play but do not have access to a team or a court. Please do join our pledge to provide this opportunity for anyone and everyone interested. Besides, improvement is a matter of personal initiative, and you will improve tremendously with each effort :)

Hope to see everyone sign up for the next games. We will be punctual, I will have the balls, bibs and whistle to play. Let's hope not, but if we DO have to wait, we will warm up and probably do some drills just for fun.
